The CPCCLDG3001 - Licence to perform dogging course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely and competently perform dogging operations in various work environments. Dogging operations involve the movement and positioning of heavy loads using slinging techniques and signalling methods to guide crane operators.
Course Content:
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to:
Select correct lifting equipment
Inspect lifting equipment for serviceability
Estimate weights of loads
Determine and use the correct technique to sling loads
Communicate with crane operators
Direct the crane operator in lift, movement and placement of loads
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued with an Australian Advanced Academy statement of attainment (certificate) for the following units:

Course Duration: 4 Days in class Face to Face
Course Requirements:Person must be over the age of 18, have the ability to read, write and understand English, have a basic knowledge of mathematics to work out formulas. Be able to provide 2 forms of identification including one with a photo. Being physically fit enough and be able to work with lifting equipment such as chains, slings and ropes and not have any conditions that would preclude you from holding a high risk licence.
